Water Line Installation

Consider the following: It is the beginning of your first water line installation services in project. You are assigned the unwelcome task of burying the water lines as the newest member of the crew. You don’t think this would be a bad job, and you even think it would be fun. Your company has some sophisticated ditch-digging equipment that you are hoping will make the job easier. You immediately begin digging the ditch. It does not appear to be a problem at first glance. The dirt is loose, and the sun isn’t too high in the sky yet. However, after a few hours of digging, you begin to experience back pain, and the earth gradually transforms into hard, compacted soil with large boulders. You’re not even halfway through. You will also quickly realize why the newcomer was assigned to this position.

Consider the following: It is the beginning of your first construction project. You are assigned the unwelcome task of cleaning out the port-a-potty as the newest member of the staff. You can see your boss conversing with a couple of people off to the side of the construction site. When you ask who they are, your coworker tells you that they are the company that installs the water lines. After a few days, you realize it’s Dunn Excavation, and they’ve completely dug the ditches, installed the water lines, and covered them up. You think to yourself, “I’m glad I didn’t have to do the water lines myself with a shovel.”
